the tree was a stump previously

I learnt to appreciate the beauty of God's creation when I saw this tree. The 1st time I took notice was when I sat down and did my QT.
That week I was very engrossed at work and did not really settle myself to spend time with God. But I don't know why there was this day I felt this important urge to do my QT. Even then I was very restless and distracted. My eyes were wandering and then I saw this tree. It was blooming beautiful red leaves! I felt this sense of awe at God's wonderful creation. I felt it was a reminder from God to slow down my steps and learn to see Him in my everday life.
The leaves have turned green recently. Actually something struck me: How do leaves grow on trees?
