Marutama @ Central

The pictures actually do injustice to the food. The ramen is really good, broth is hearty and noodles are springy; I saw Japanese men actually buy another helping of noodles. And I wonder how they finished; they do give a generous amount of noodles, I am already full after my first bowl. The grilled pork was fantastic albeit a bit on the salty side. It was tender and the charred pieces added a lot of kick and flavor into the well seasoned pork. The seasoned egg in the noodles was intriguing. Normally when an egg is hard boiled, the egg white and yolk will be hard. But not this one. The egg white and yolk were so soft, the yolk looked and tasted almost runny but it was cooked! It is, to me, a perfect kind of hard boiled egg. I was told that this ramen restaurant is a very famous place in Tokyo and now that they are opening a branch here, I love them for coming! I am very game to try their specialty broth, seven nuts and coriander...ooh. Knowing that I may have an allergy to nuts, seven kinds of nuts seem potent, would I risk my health for food? Hmm...
